Blueberries For Sal - Sal and her mother, and Little Bear and her mother are both picking blueberries for winter on the same hillside. The littles get their moms mixed up and know that they DO NOT belong together. The bears eat all their berries for hibernation, while Sal and her mom can the berries for winter. The book explores differences between humans and animals - their features, sophistication of systems, and abilities.
An Egg Is Quiet - Every egg has its own unique design specifically to protect the life that grows within it. Some even have tendrils to help them cling onto a hillside. The beautiful drawings help children match favorite birds to their eggs, and learn that the design of the egg is full of purpose.
A Nest Is Noisy - a follow up to An Egg Is Quiet. Now we get to meet the noisy little birds that came from all those intricately designed eggs.
