Welcome to another year and back-to-school season! As a former teacher my 'year' always begins in September. My three boys all started at a new Catholic school this year and we are trying to focus on the joy in the unknown of God's promises. Instead of asking, 'will I make new friends?' we say, 'God, thank you in advance for the friends you have already discerned for me ... I can't wait to see what you you have in store for me.'
